JACQUELINE ABBOTT is an established and successful elementary school teacher with more than than 25 years of classroom experience. Born and raised in Tawas, Michigan, Jacqueline moved to the East Coast in 1983 to attend Pace University from where she received a Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education with a minor in psychology. She went on the receive a Master's degree in Early Childhood Education from Fairfield University in Fairfield, Connecticut, as well as a Master's degree in Writing from Manhattenville College in Purchase, New York.
Jacqueline has also studied and practiced Usui Reiki, and now holds a second degree certification, and animal communication with Anna Twinney and the "Reach Out to Horses" program.
In addition to her great love of teaching, Jacqueline's interests include equitation (she has her own horse and rides frequently), the mind-body connection, and animal communication.
Jacqueline is excited to work with Team UNITE to join hands with Tanzanian teachers in elementary and secondary -- as well as vocational schools -- to learn and to share her vast experience with a variety of teaching modalities, methods, approaches and styles.
