UNITE the World With Africa
Global Girls UNITE (GGU) is a club that empowers middle- and high school-aged girls here in the United States to experience their personal power as change agents in the world. Our GGU teams are spread across schools and communities. Each group works to achieve three main goals: Education (learning about the life in Tanzania); Connection (creating personal relationships with their peers in Tanzania); and Fundraising (coming up with unique and impactful ways to mobilize their communities). 100% of funds raised by Global Girls directly supports the work of UNITE The World With Africa’s to advance community health and education programs with our partner NGOs throughout the Kilimanjaro district of Tanzania, East Africa.
