Interactive strategist and business development executive, Amy Coveny, is the Social Media Director for UNITE The World With Africa, a social organization advancing grassroots women’s health, education and microfinance initiatives throughout Tanzania. She works closely with the team at UNITE, Ashe and Global Girls Unite to engage users in Social Media.

Amy has spent the past 12 years in both old and new media; including Television (Fox News Channel), online (Mediaplex, L90 and HealthNews) mobile (mSnap, SmartReply) and social media(HealthNews). 

She is a serial entrepreneur with a passion for building companies in the Interactive space.  Her level of expertise will be utilized to help expand UNITE and further its aid to Africa.

Amy attended Colorado State University with a BA in English, Art History and French.  She currently resides in San Francisco, CA.
