My name is Alyssa Domino -- born and raised in New Canaan Connecticut.  I am currently a sophomore at New Canaan High School where I pursue my interests of soccer, lacrosse, and theater.  My favorite part of the school day is English class.  I have a passion for writing and language studies and I am hoping to pass along some of my knowledge in these areas to the children and teens who I will be working with (as well as learning from them!) I look forward to providing the teens and children in the villages with someone who is there age and easy to talk and communicate with.  Since I am young and therefore do not have any fancy degrees (yet), I am entering this experience completely open minded, willing to help with my knowledge of basic first aid, ability to relate, well rounded basic education, and whatever else I am able to contribute.

Outside of school, I am in love with singing and dancing and am looking forward to picking up some new techniques on this adventure.
