About UNITE

UNITE The World With Africa, LLC is a social organization founded in January 2010 by Anne Wells to empower and facilitate meaningful giving and service opportunities between Americans and Tanzanians. Specifically, under the umbrella of UNITE, Anne designs and runs humanitarian outreach tours to Africa in which participants are partnered with their peer-counterparts to share of their time and talents in targeted and impactful ways. To execute these tours, UNITE partners with a number of local grassroots non-profit organizations that are doing their work in excellence, having a positive and measurable impact on their communities, and are also in great need of support and assistance from the West. Together, Anne and her partners determine how her traveling team can be of the greatest service before and during their time in Tanzania by applying their unique and personal skill sets (e.g. women's health, microfinance, education, public health, etc.).
