TOUR OBJECTIVES
1. Launch a midwife training program in partnership with the Women's Education & Economic Center of Moshi. All obstetric training materials and medical supplies are being sourced through Maternova.net. WEECE's medical director Dr. Goodluck Kessy will be working closely with Executive Director Mama Valeria Mrema to conduct training at more than 10 clinics in the Kilimanjaro district.

2. Identify more partners with whom UNITE can work to place Americans in the field, whether for a few hours, days, weeks or months. Site visits include primary and secondary schools; orphanages; music, arts and sport programs; vocational training programs; libraries; hospitals and clinics; microfinance organizations; women's cooperatives; and more.

3. Source new product for our Ashe Collection, featuring unique and elegant African artistry sourced from cooperatives and NGOs working to create reliable income for women and to provide education and healthcare to them and their families.

4. Report for the international news outlet Africa.com.
